Delete your account and data

This page applies to the VoxScribe web app and the “VoxScribe Recorder” app (iOS and Android) by Anton Alpha GmbH.

Delete your account yourself

  1. Sign in to the VoxScribe web app (same credentials as in the app).
  2. Open your profile in the top right corner.
  3. Choose “Delete account” and confirm.

This deletes your account, your login and your profile picture. Delete your recordings and transcripts yourself in the app or web app first – or request complete deletion by email (see below).

Request deletion by email

Alternatively, send an email from your account’s address to office@anton-alpha.com with the subject “VoxScribe account deletion”. We then delete your account with all recordings, transcripts, summaries and minutes and confirm this to you – at the latest within one month (Art. 12 GDPR).

Good to know

  • Recordings that exist only on your device are removed by uninstalling the app.
  • Content in an organisation’s projects is coordinated with that organisation where it is shared there.
  • Technical logs are kept for at most 90 days. Details are in the privacy policy.
